The good old days and friends and all that related are always the best part of my life, in memory. Gradually I deify them, unconsciously or subconsciously. She, in my twilight zone #3 "the 青梅竹馬", may not be that charming if I ever had a chance to meet her again, I guess.

More or less the same, I would figure the friends in this virtual reality will be the best ones for me, so that I often have the urge to invite them for a cup of coffee, if it's not too far. But more often than not, good net friends after real life coffee are no more good friends.

When the goddess comes into my life, she's no more a goddess. She becomes a human, and so the rule applies: time and distance keep us apart! What a pity!
