国际青年旅舍联盟

国际青年旅舍联盟（INTERNATIONAL YOUTH HOSTEL FEDERATION，简称IYHF）成立于1932年，是联合国教科文组织成员，总部目前设在英国，并注册为一家非牟利机构。其小屋及冷杉标志是经过联合国欧洲经济公署道路安全工作委员会允许后，进入了国际公共交通标志系统。而蓝三角加上小屋及冷杉更是一个世界性的品牌和注册商标

　早在世纪之交，一群法国学生作假期徒步旅行。他们背着粮食和炊具，穿越乡村，晚上睡在库房里或者露天下，弹着吉他唱着民谣，这种生活方式引起各界的强烈反响。学生们把自己称为"候鸟"，并成为一个更广泛的带有自己生活哲学的青年运动的核心力量。由此，青年旅舍的生活方式露出萌芽。

　　20世纪初，德国教师查理德．希尔曼常常带领学生通过步行，骑自行车在乡间漫游。他说："这才是真正的教育天堂。"由此他萌发了为所有的年轻人提供一个交流思想，了解大自然的场所。而后在政府的支持下，青年旅舍作为世界青年相互认识，接触自然的媒介诞生

二、青年旅舍与中国青年

　青年旅舍向人们提供的不仅仅是一条干净的床单，他旨在于提高对世界各族青少年的教育，鼓励他们更多地了解、热爱和关心郊野，以及欣赏世界各地的城市和乡村的文化。另外提供没有种族、国籍、肤色、宗教、性别、阶层或政见区别的环境，以促进青少年对本国和国外更深的了解。同时他向人们展示是一种健康，回归自然的生活方式。如每晚与来自八方的青年联欢、交流；每天清晨清理"旅舍杂务"；在当地考察，自己动手打理生活；不使用一次性用具；戒烟、戒酒，这种生活方式有利于改善生活在城市里的孩子们的心理和生理健康水平，也教给青年人朴素、自律和关心他人的美德。在青年旅舍生活、睡觉、吃饭使得住客们必须考虑他人的需要，并爱护"他们"旅舍的公共财务。

　中国青年是世界最大的发展中国家未来的主人。他们的自强、自立更是中国的希望。体验青年旅舍所提供的生活方式，将有利于他们培养互相尊重、互相协调的团队精神。
